OWNRYDE LOST & FOUND POLICY <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOwnRyde, Inc. \u2014 Technology Platform<\/strong>\n
\nVersion 2.0 \u2014 Effective January 2026\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n This Lost & Found Policy (\u201cPolicy\u201d) applies to all users of the OwnRyde Platform (\u201cPlatform\u201d), including Riders and Drivers (\u201cUsers,\u201d \u201cyou,\u201d or \u201cyour\u201d).\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde, Inc. (\u201cOwnRyde,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d) operates a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde does not provide transportation services and does not take possession, custody, or control of personal property left in vehicles.\n<\/p>\n\n

1. Independent Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\n Transportation services are independently provided by Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n Personal belongings left in a vehicle remain the responsibility of the Rider and Driver involved in the trip.\n<\/p>\n\n

OwnRyde does not:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • Store lost property<\/li>\n
  • Transport lost items<\/li>\n
  • Take custody of personal belongings<\/li>\n
  • Guarantee recovery of items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    2. Reporting a Lost Item<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    If a Rider believes an item was left in a vehicle, the Rider should:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Report the lost item through available support or reporting channels as soon as possible<\/li>\n
    • Provide a detailed description of the item<\/li>\n
    • Provide relevant trip information<\/li>\n
    • Provide contact information where appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      \n OwnRyde may facilitate limited communication between Riders and Drivers to assist with recovery efforts where feasible.\n<\/p>\n\n

      3. Driver Cooperation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      Drivers are encouraged to:<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • Check vehicles for reported items<\/li>\n
      • Respond reasonably to lost item inquiries<\/li>\n
      • Coordinate return arrangements professionally and safely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Drivers are not required to:<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        • Deliver items personally<\/li>\n
        • Ship items<\/li>\n
        • Travel unreasonable distances<\/li>\n
        • Store property indefinitely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          \n Return arrangements are handled directly between Riders and Drivers unless otherwise required by law.\n<\/p>\n\n

          4. Return Arrangements & Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

          \n Return of lost items is arranged solely between the Rider and Driver.\n<\/p>\n\n

          Riders may be responsible for:<\/p>\n\n

            \n
          • Shipping costs<\/li>\n
          • Delivery costs<\/li>\n
          • Mailing expenses<\/li>\n
          • Reasonable return-related expenses<\/li>\n
          • Return trip fees where applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            \n Any payment arrangements related to returning property are handled independently between Users unless otherwise facilitated by the Platform.\n<\/p>\n\n

            5. No Liability for Lost Property<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

            \n To the fullest extent permitted by law, OwnRyde is not responsible for:\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n
            • Lost items<\/li>\n
            • Stolen property<\/li>\n
            • Damaged belongings<\/li>\n
            • Unreturned items<\/li>\n
            • Delayed returns<\/li>\n
            • Disputes regarding ownership<\/li>\n
            • Property left in vehicles<\/li>\n
            • Actions or omissions of Users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              \n OwnRyde does not guarantee recovery or return of any property.\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n Users assume responsibility for monitoring and securing personal belongings during transportation services.\n<\/p>\n\n

              6. Unclaimed Property<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

              \n Drivers are responsible for handling unclaimed property in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate.\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n OwnRyde does not assume custody or ownership of abandoned or unclaimed items.\n<\/p>\n\n

              7. Dangerous or Illegal Items<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

              \n If a Driver discovers dangerous, unlawful, or suspicious items, the Driver should:\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n
              • Follow applicable laws<\/li>\n
              • Avoid unsafe handling<\/li>\n
              • Contact appropriate authorities where necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                \n OwnRyde may cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.\n<\/p>\n\n

                8. Platform Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                \n OwnRyde may provide:\n<\/p>\n\n

                  \n
                • Reporting tools<\/li>\n
                • Limited communication assistance<\/li>\n
                • Support channels<\/li>\n
                • Incident documentation systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  \n However, OwnRyde cannot guarantee:\n<\/p>\n\n

                    \n
                  • Driver response<\/li>\n
                  • Item recovery<\/li>\n
                  • Item condition<\/li>\n
                  • Return arrangements<\/li>\n
                  • User cooperation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    9. Policy Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                    \n OwnRyde may modify this Policy at any time.\n<\/p>\n\n

                    \n Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised policies.\n<\/p>\n\n
