\n This Refunds, Disputes & Chargeback Policy (\u201cPolicy\u201d) applies to all users of the OwnRyde Platform (\u201cPlatform\u201d), including Riders and Drivers (\u201cUsers,\u201d \u201cyou,\u201d or \u201cyour\u201d).\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde, Inc. (\u201cOwnRyde,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d) operates a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n Payments made through the Platform are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe or similar payment processors.\n<\/p>\n\n

1. General Payment Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Payments processed through the Platform may include:<\/p>\n\n

  • Ride fares<\/li>\n
  • Platform or booking fees<\/li>\n
  • Tolls<\/li>\n
  • Cancellation fees<\/li>\n
  • Waiting time adjustments<\/li>\n
  • Damage-related charges where applicable<\/li>\n
  • Other authorized charges related to Platform activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    \n Refunds, disputes, and payment adjustments are reviewed in accordance with:\n<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Platform policies<\/li>\n
    • Payment processor requirements<\/li>\n
    • Fraud prevention procedures<\/li>\n
    • Applicable laws and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      2. Fare Estimates & Final Charges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      \n Fare estimates shown before booking are estimates only and may change based on:\n<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • Route changes<\/li>\n
      • Traffic conditions<\/li>\n
      • Waiting time<\/li>\n
      • Tolls<\/li>\n
      • Pickup or destination modifications<\/li>\n
      • Ride duration<\/li>\n
      • Marketplace or operational conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        \n Final charges may differ from original estimates where permitted by applicable law.\n<\/p>\n\n

        3. Rider Refund Requests<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        \n Riders may request review of charges in limited situations including:\n<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        • Incorrect fare calculations<\/li>\n
        • Duplicate charges<\/li>\n
        • Technical processing errors<\/li>\n
        • Unauthorized charges<\/li>\n
        • Significant service-related concerns<\/li>\n
        • Documented policy violations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          \n Refund requests should be submitted through available support channels within a reasonable time after the ride or transaction.\n<\/p>\n\n

          \n Refund eligibility is determined at OwnRyde\u2019s discretion, subject to applicable laws and payment processor requirements.\n<\/p>\n\n

          4. No Automatic Refunds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

          Refunds are not automatically provided for:<\/p>\n\n

            \n
          • Completed rides<\/li>\n
          • Traffic delays<\/li>\n
          • Route preferences<\/li>\n
          • Driver availability limitations<\/li>\n
          • Marketplace conditions<\/li>\n
          • Rider cancellations outside eligible windows<\/li>\n
          • Dissatisfaction unrelated to policy violations<\/li>\n
          • Circumstances outside Platform control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            \n Transportation services are independently provided by Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

            5. Driver Earnings Adjustments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

            \n Drivers acknowledge that approved:\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n
            • Refunds<\/li>\n
            • Payment reversals<\/li>\n
            • Charge corrections<\/li>\n
            • Fraud investigations<\/li>\n
            • Dispute resolutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              \n may result in:\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n
              • Earnings adjustments<\/li>\n
              • Temporary payout holds<\/li>\n
              • Reversals of associated earnings where applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                \n OwnRyde reserves the right to temporarily delay or review payouts during active investigations or fraud reviews.\n<\/p>\n\n

                6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                \n Users agree to first attempt to resolve payment concerns through Platform support before initiating external chargebacks where reasonably possible.\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes through financial institutions may result in:\n<\/p>\n\n

                  \n
                • Temporary account restrictions<\/li>\n
                • Investigation of account activity<\/li>\n
                • Delayed payouts<\/li>\n
                • Suspension or termination for fraudulent or abusive activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  \n OwnRyde reserves the right to dispute fraudulent or abusive chargebacks with financial institutions or payment processors.\n<\/p>\n\n

                  7. Fraud Prevention<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                  OwnRyde may investigate:<\/p>\n\n

                    \n
                  • Suspicious payment activity<\/li>\n
                  • Repeated refund requests<\/li>\n
                  • Chargeback abuse<\/li>\n
                  • Unauthorized transactions<\/li>\n
                  • Fraudulent account activity<\/li>\n
                  • Payment manipulation attempts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    \n OwnRyde may:\n<\/p>\n\n

                      \n
                    • Restrict Platform access<\/li>\n
                    • Suspend accounts<\/li>\n
                    • Delay payouts<\/li>\n
                    • Require additional verification<\/li>\n
                    • Report suspected fraud where appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                      8. Processing Times<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                      \n Approved refunds or reversals are processed through third-party payment providers and financial institutions.\n<\/p>\n\n

                      \n Processing times may vary depending on:\n<\/p>\n\n

                        \n
                      • Banks<\/li>\n
                      • Card issuers<\/li>\n
                      • Payment processors<\/li>\n
                      • Financial institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                        \n OwnRyde is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or financial institutions.\n<\/p>\n\n

                        9. Platform Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                        \n Platform fees, booking fees, subscription fees, or similar charges may be non-refundable except:\n<\/p>\n\n

                          \n
                        • Where required by law<\/li>\n
                        • Where otherwise determined by OwnRyde<\/li>\n
                        • In cases involving technical or billing errors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                          10. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                          \n To the fullest extent permitted by law, OwnRyde shall not be liable for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                          • Bank processing delays<\/li>\n
                          • Payment processor outages or errors<\/li>\n
                          • Chargeback penalties<\/li>\n
                          • Financial institution actions<\/li>\n
                          • Fraudulent transactions<\/li>\n
                          • Payment disputes between Users<\/li>\n
                          • Transportation-related losses<\/li>\n
                          • Indirect or consequential damages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                            11. Policy Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                            \n OwnRyde may modify this Policy at any time.\n<\/p>\n\n

                            \n Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised policies.\n<\/p>\n\n
