OWNRYDE INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS POLICY <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n This Insurance Requirements Policy (\u201cPolicy\u201d) outlines insurance-related responsibilities for Drivers using the OwnRyde Platform (\u201cPlatform\u201d), operated by OwnRyde, Inc. (\u201cOwnRyde,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d).\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde operates a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde does not provide transportation services and does not provide insurance coverage for Drivers, Riders, vehicles, or transportation activities unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.\n<\/p>\n\n

1. Driver Insurance Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\n Drivers are solely responsible for maintaining all insurance coverage required by applicable:\n<\/p>\n\n

  • Local laws<\/li>\n
  • State laws<\/li>\n
  • Federal laws<\/li>\n
  • Regulatory or licensing requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Drivers must ensure that insurance coverage:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Remains valid and active at all times while using the Platform<\/li>\n
    • Covers the vehicle being used<\/li>\n
    • Meets legally required minimum coverage limits<\/li>\n
    • Complies with applicable transportation-related insurance requirements where applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      \n Drivers are solely responsible for understanding the type and amount of insurance required for their transportation activities.\n<\/p>\n\n

      2. No Insurance Provided by OwnRyde<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      \n OwnRyde does not provide:\n<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • Commercial automobile insurance<\/li>\n
      • Rideshare insurance<\/li>\n
      • Liability insurance<\/li>\n
      • Collision coverage<\/li>\n
      • Vehicle damage coverage<\/li>\n
      • Medical payments coverage<\/li>\n
      • Personal injury protection<\/li>\n
      • Workers\u2019 compensation coverage<\/li>\n
      • Uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage<\/li>\n
      • General commercial liability coverage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        \n Transportation services are independently provided by Drivers under their own insurance policies and legal responsibility.\n<\/p>\n\n

        3. Proof of Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        \n Drivers may be required to:\n<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        • Upload proof of insurance<\/li>\n
        • Provide updated insurance documentation<\/li>\n
        • Verify policy status<\/li>\n
        • Submit additional compliance documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          \n OwnRyde reserves the right to:\n<\/p>\n\n

            \n
          • Review insurance documentation<\/li>\n
          • Request updated records<\/li>\n
          • Restrict Platform access<\/li>\n
          • Suspend or terminate Driver access for missing, expired, invalid, or insufficient insurance documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            \n Failure to maintain required insurance may result in immediate suspension or removal from the Platform.\n<\/p>\n\n

            4. Insurance Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

            \n OwnRyde may use third-party providers or verification services to:\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n
            • Review insurance documentation<\/li>\n
            • Verify policy status<\/li>\n
            • Monitor compliance information<\/li>\n
            • Conduct periodic verification checks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              \n Verification does not guarantee:\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n
              • Coverage adequacy<\/li>\n
              • Policy validity<\/li>\n
              • Claims approval<\/li>\n
              • Legal compliance<\/li>\n
              • Future policy status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                \n Drivers remain solely responsible for maintaining compliant insurance coverage at all times.\n<\/p>\n\n

                5. Accidents, Claims & Incidents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                \n In the event of an accident, injury, property damage, or transportation-related incident, Drivers are solely responsible for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                  \n
                • Reporting incidents to their insurance providers<\/li>\n
                • Cooperating with insurance investigations<\/li>\n
                • Handling claims and disputes<\/li>\n
                • Complying with legal reporting obligations<\/li>\n
                • Managing defense or liability matters arising from transportation activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  \n OwnRyde is not responsible for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                    \n
                  • Insurance claims<\/li>\n
                  • Claims handling<\/li>\n
                  • Coverage disputes<\/li>\n
                  • Denied claims<\/li>\n
                  • Deductibles<\/li>\n
                  • Vehicle repairs<\/li>\n
                  • Legal defense costs<\/li>\n
                  • Transportation-related liabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    6. Rider Acknowledgment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                    Riders acknowledge that:<\/p>\n\n

                    • Transportation services are independently provided by Drivers<\/li>\n
                    • Drivers operate under their own insurance policies<\/li>\n
                    • OwnRyde does not provide transportation insurance coverage for Riders<\/li>\n
                    • OwnRyde does not guarantee Driver insurance coverage, claim approval, or transportation outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                      7. Compliance with Laws<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                      \n Drivers are responsible for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                        \n
                      • Understanding applicable insurance requirements<\/li>\n
                      • Maintaining required licenses and permits<\/li>\n
                      • Complying with transportation-related regulations<\/li>\n
                      • Complying with insurance obligations in jurisdictions where they operate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                        \n OwnRyde does not provide legal or insurance advice.\n<\/p>\n\n

                        \n Drivers should consult qualified insurance professionals or legal advisors regarding coverage requirements.\n<\/p>\n\n

                        8. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                        \n To the fullest extent permitted by law, OwnRyde shall not be liable for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                          \n
                        • Insurance disputes<\/li>\n
                        • Coverage denials<\/li>\n
                        • Claims processing issues<\/li>\n
                        • Policy cancellations<\/li>\n
                        • Insufficient coverage<\/li>\n
                        • Transportation-related losses<\/li>\n
                        • Injuries or accidents<\/li>\n
                        • Property damage<\/li>\n
                        • Vehicle damage<\/li>\n
                        • Legal expenses<\/li>\n
                        • Financial losses arising from transportation activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                          \n Drivers assume all risks associated with transportation services conducted through or related to the Platform.\n<\/p>\n\n

                          9. Policy Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                          \n OwnRyde may modify this Policy at any time.\n<\/p>\n\n

                          \n Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised policies.\n<\/p>\n\n
