OWNRYDE RIDER AGREEMENT <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOwnRyde, Inc. \u2014 Technology Platform<\/strong>\n
\nVersion 2.0 \u2014 Effective January 2026\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n This Rider Agreement (\u201cAgreement\u201d) describes the terms under which you access and use the OwnRyde technology platform as a Rider (\u201cRider,\u201d \u201cyou,\u201d or \u201cyour\u201d).\n<\/p>\n\n

\n This Agreement is between you and OwnRyde, Inc. (\u201cOwnRyde,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d).\n<\/p>\n\n

\n By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to this Agreement.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde operates a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers. OwnRyde does not provide transportation services and does not employ Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

1. Nature of the Platform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\n OwnRyde provides access to a technology platform that facilitates:\n<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • Rider and Driver account access<\/li>\n
  • Ride request systems<\/li>\n
  • Driver matching<\/li>\n
  • Estimated fare calculations<\/li>\n
  • Navigation and mapping tools<\/li>\n
  • Payment processing<\/li>\n
  • Communication features<\/li>\n
  • Safety and verification tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    OwnRyde does not:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Provide transportation services<\/li>\n
    • Employ Drivers<\/li>\n
    • Own or operate vehicles<\/li>\n
    • Control Driver conduct<\/li>\n
    • Guarantee ride availability<\/li>\n
    • Guarantee ride acceptance<\/li>\n
    • Guarantee arrival times<\/li>\n
    • Guarantee ride quality or outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      \n Transportation services are independently provided by Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

      2. Rider Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      To use the Platform, Riders must:<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • Be at least 18 years old<\/li>\n
      • Provide accurate account information<\/li>\n
      • Maintain a valid payment method<\/li>\n
      • Complete required verification steps where applicable<\/li>\n
      • Comply with this Agreement and applicable laws<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        \n OwnRyde reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate Rider access for safety concerns, fraud, policy violations, or other lawful reasons.\n<\/p>\n\n

        3. Rider Accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        Riders agree to:<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        • Maintain accurate account information<\/li>\n
        • Keep login credentials secure<\/li>\n
        • Not share accounts<\/li>\n
        • Not create duplicate or fraudulent accounts<\/li>\n
        • Promptly report unauthorized account access<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          \n OwnRyde may suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or policy violations.\n<\/p>\n\n

          4. Ride Requests & Matching<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

          \n The Platform allows Riders to request transportation services from independent Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

          \n Ride requests may be matched using factors including:\n<\/p>\n\n

            \n
          • Driver availability<\/li>\n
          • Rider location<\/li>\n
          • Estimated arrival time<\/li>\n
          • Vehicle category<\/li>\n
          • Platform pricing systems<\/li>\n
          • Marketplace efficiency<\/li>\n
          • Operational and safety considerations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            \n OwnRyde does not guarantee that a Driver will accept any ride request.\n<\/p>\n\n

            5. Pricing & Fare Estimates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

            \n OwnRyde may use estimated fare systems, suggested pricing structures, platform pricing tools, dispatch systems, and marketplace balancing mechanisms to improve rider experience and operational efficiency.\n<\/p>\n\n

            \n Fare estimates may vary based on:\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n
            • Distance<\/li>\n
            • Time<\/li>\n
            • Traffic conditions<\/li>\n
            • Driver availability<\/li>\n
            • Route changes<\/li>\n
            • Waiting time<\/li>\n
            • Tolls<\/li>\n
            • Pickup or destination modifications<\/li>\n
            • Marketplace conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              \n Final pricing will be displayed before ride confirmation whenever applicable.\n<\/p>\n\n

              \n Tolls and additional charges may apply depending on route and trip conditions.\n<\/p>\n\n

              6. Payments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

              \n By using the Platform, Riders authorize OwnRyde and its payment providers to process charges for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n
              • Ride fares<\/li>\n
              • Platform or booking fees<\/li>\n
              • Tolls<\/li>\n
              • Cancellation fees<\/li>\n
              • Damage charges where applicable<\/li>\n
              • Adjustments related to ride activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                \n Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or similar payment processors.\n<\/p>\n\n

                \n OwnRyde does not store full payment card information.\n<\/p>\n\n

                7. Rider Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                Riders agree to:<\/p>\n\n

                  \n
                • Treat Drivers respectfully<\/li>\n
                • Follow applicable laws<\/li>\n
                • Provide accurate pickup and destination information<\/li>\n
                • Avoid unsafe or unlawful conduct<\/li>\n
                • Not damage vehicles<\/li>\n
                • Not transport prohibited or illegal items<\/li>\n
                • Wear seatbelts where required by law<\/li>\n
                • Avoid harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive behavior<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  \n Riders are responsible for their conduct during transportation services.\n<\/p>\n\n

                  8. Safety & Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                  \n OwnRyde may provide:\n<\/p>\n\n

                    \n
                  • Safety features<\/li>\n
                  • Emergency assistance integrations<\/li>\n
                  • Ride tracking<\/li>\n
                  • Incident reporting tools<\/li>\n
                  • Verification systems<\/li>\n
                  • Communication tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    \n However, OwnRyde cannot guarantee:\n<\/p>\n\n

                      \n
                    • Driver conduct<\/li>\n
                    • Rider conduct<\/li>\n
                    • Safety outcomes<\/li>\n
                    • Ride quality<\/li>\n
                    • Transportation outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                      \n Riders should exercise personal judgment and caution when using the Platform.\n<\/p>\n\n

                      9. Driver Independence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                      \n Riders acknowledge that Drivers:\n<\/p>\n\n

                        \n
                      • Operate independently<\/li>\n
                      • Are not employees of OwnRyde<\/li>\n
                      • Control their own transportation activities<\/li>\n
                      • Are responsible for their own vehicles, insurance, permits, and compliance obligations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                        \n Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment or agency relationship between OwnRyde and Drivers.\n<\/p>\n\n

                        10. Cancellations & Adjustments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                        \n Ride requests may be subject to:\n<\/p>\n\n

                          \n
                        • Cancellation fees<\/li>\n
                        • Waiting time adjustments<\/li>\n
                        • Route-based pricing adjustments<\/li>\n
                        • Toll adjustments<\/li>\n
                        • Operational or marketplace-related adjustments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                          \n Charges may vary based on actual trip activity.\n<\/p>\n\n

                          11. Prohibited Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                          Riders may not:<\/p>\n\n

                            \n
                          • Violate laws or regulations<\/li>\n
                          • Harass or threaten Drivers<\/li>\n
                          • Commit fraud or chargeback abuse<\/li>\n
                          • Damage vehicles<\/li>\n
                          • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes<\/li>\n
                          • Interfere with Platform functionality<\/li>\n
                          • Provide false information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                            \n Violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.\n<\/p>\n\n

                            12. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                            \n To the fullest extent permitted by law, OwnRyde shall not be liable for:\n<\/p>\n\n

                              \n
                            • Personal injury<\/li>\n
                            • Death<\/li>\n
                            • Property damage<\/li>\n
                            • Vehicle damage<\/li>\n
                            • Lost property<\/li>\n
                            • Transportation incidents<\/li>\n
                            • Criminal acts<\/li>\n
                            • Driver conduct<\/li>\n
                            • Delays or ride availability<\/li>\n
                            • Indirect or consequential damages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                              \n Use of the Platform and transportation services is at your own risk.\n<\/p>\n\n

                              13. Indemnification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                              \n Riders agree to indemnify and hold harmless OwnRyde, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, or legal costs arising from:\n<\/p>\n\n

                                \n
                              • Rider conduct<\/li>\n
                              • Violations of law<\/li>\n
                              • Violations of this Agreement<\/li>\n
                              • Disputes with Drivers or third parties<\/li>\n
                              • Damage caused during transportation services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                                14. Arbitration Agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                                \n Any dispute arising from this Agreement or use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Oregon unless otherwise required by law.\n<\/p>\n\n

                                \n Class actions and collective proceedings are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.\n<\/p>\n\n

                                15. Modifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                                \n OwnRyde may modify this Agreement at any time.\n<\/p>\n\n

                                \n Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.\n<\/p>\n\n

                                • You have read and understood this Agreement<\/li>\n
                                • You understand that Drivers operate independently<\/li>\n
